É outro recém-chegado à netlabel. Hayato Murakai traz-nos o seu disco de estreia intitulado "Sloth". Mesmo antes de começarmos a ouvi-lo ficamos indignados e curiosos pelo facto das 4 músicas terem exatamente o mesmo andamento, 18'16".

A primeira faixa é “seagull screaming” e é o tema mais pesada do EP, uma bela fusão de ruído e batidas. Depois, música após música, a dureza do som vai reduzindo e terminamos o EP com uma faixa mais ambiental.

Todas as quatro faixas trabalham em conjunto para criar uma interessante peça artística de música eletrónica.

It's another newcomer to netlabel. Hayato Murakai brings us his debut album entitled "Sloth". Even after we started listening to it, we were outraged and curious by the fact that the 4 songs had exactly the same tempo, 18'16".

The first track is “seagull screaming” and is the heaviest track on the EP, a beautiful fusion of noise and beats. Then, song after song, the harshness of the sound reduces and we end the EP with a more ambient track.

All four tracks work together to create an interesting artistic piece of electronic musical work.

A must listen!

Neste disco ao "vivo" Luís Antero reorganizou as peças e gravações sonoras utilizadas no concerto, tendo igualmente adicionado outras gravações provenientes da oficina.

Um disco altamente sensorial, ideal para os fãs do field recording.

Computer Music Self Portrait 2 é um disco interessante que gira em torno de variações elegantes de música eletrónica, bem como um excelente retrato musical de Kusano.

‘Believe’, a abertura, é a faixa mais ambiental deste disco de 5 temas. Um tema hipnótico múltiplas camadas de pads de sintetizador.

Outros destaques: ‘Frontier’, uma faixa slow-techno melódico e minimalista de ritmo lento que se desenvolve ao longo de 7 minutos. Ou ‘Fragmentary impromptu’, um tema que mostra a versatilidade do artista noutras electrónicas.

“Puro; sublime; celeste; diáfano”: é a definição de “etéreo” no dicionário infopédia da Língua Portuguesa.

Neste disco as eletrónicas e os field recordings, cruzam-se num diálogo entre o terreno e o etéreo.

Há algo visceral nestes sons, nesta conjugação de ruídos, sons orgânicos e minimais.

A meio do disco entramos num transe hipnótico, ascendemos a um lugar de paz e harmonia para depois, em go, ficarmos irritadiços, disruptivos e em confronto direto com o nosso cérebro.

“Extremely light and delicate, as if not of this world” is the definition of Ethereal in the Online Cambridge dictionary.

On this record, electronics and field recordings intersect in a dialogue between the earthly and the ethereal.

There is something visceral in these sounds, in this combination of noises, organic and minimal sounds.

Halfway through the record we enter a hypnotic trance, we ascend to a place of peace and harmony and then, in go, we become irritable, disruptive and we come in direct confrontation with our brain.
